All TPA’s use different technology platforms to manage medical claims, deductible accumulation & eligibility. Working with a new pharmacy vendor is often cumbersome as TPA’s are often required to code their claim and eligibility files to match the new pharmacy vendor or pay the new pharmacy vendor to match theirs.
